KPGC took the opportunity to refurbish the practice area bunkers by creating Ecobunkers, which utilise recycled tyre chippings as a porous base to aid drainage, recycled astroturf to build the face and surrounds, and a reduced quantum of sand.
Our sustainability goal is to cut down on maintenance, thereby, saving time and resources whilst also cutting CO2 emissions. The sustainability improvements not only look great but also improve the practice experience for our members.
