Golf du Rhin is embarking on a significant upgrade by replacing 80 sprinkler kits across the course. This initiative is geared towards conserving water resources, with the goal of achieving a 39% reduction in water usage. By transitioning from full-circle sprinklers to ½-circle sprinklers, we aim to optimise water distribution, focusing on in play areas. This targeted approach enhances water efficiency and minimises wastage.
Furthermore, areas that are no longer irrigated will undergo naturalisation into high rough. This transformation not only contributes to water conservation but also reduces the need for fertilizers and fuel, aligning with our commitment to ecological stewardship and responsible resource management whilst helping minimise costs.
