Ons greenkeeping team heeft een nieuw insectenhotel geplaatst tussen de fruitbomen op hole 13/14. Voor de bouw van dit hotel zijn alleen gerecyclede materialen van de golfbaan zelf gebruikt. Van boomstammen tot houten planken die voorheen de buitenkant van het clubhuis sierden, deze gerecyclede materialen zijn gebruikt om een gastvrije omgeving te creëren voor insecten en andere kleine dieren.
Door dit hotel te bouwen, hebben we een habitat gecreëerd waar deze soorten goed kunnen gedijen, waardoor het lokale voedselweb wordt verbeterd en schuil-, broed- en voedingsgebieden worden gecreëerd voor kleine organismen die cruciaal zijn voor de toekomst van de club.

Our greenkeeping team has placed a new bug hotel among the fruit trees at holes 13/14. Only recycled materials sourced from the course itself were used for the construction of this hotel. From tree trunks to wooden planks that previously adorned the exterior of the clubhouse, these recycled materials have been used to create a welcoming environment for insects and other small animals.
By creating this hotel, we have provided a habitat for these species to thrive, enhancing local food webs and creating refuge, breeding, and feeding areas for small organisms which are crucial to the club's future.
