Improving playability through bunker renewal

Phase 2 of our bunker reconstruction project will commence this summer as we continue our long-term investment in the golf course. Work will begin on the greenside bunkers of Hole 7 before progressing to all bunkers on Hole 8. The team will then continue with the bunkers on Holes 1, 2, 10, 11, and 12.

Each bunker will undergo a comprehensive reconstruction process, including:

• Removal of the existing sand
• Excavation of the bunker floor
• Installation of new drainage and gravel
• Installation of a CapillaryFlow bunker liner system and wash boxes
• Installation of Dura Bunker synthetic edging
• Replacement of topsoil and turf
• Placement of new bunker sand

Once completed, these improvements will provide enhanced drainage, improved sand consistency, reduced contamination, and greater long-term playability, while preserving the strategic design intent of the golf course.
