Bees are useful and an essential link in nature. Many species play an important role in the pollination of wild plants and economically important agricultural and horticultural crops. Others are known as "biological controllers" and play a unique role in maintaining fragile, natural balances. When there are not enough bees to pollinate our crops, species will die out.

Since the spring of 2018, 3 hives have been placed on the Capelse Golfbaan. The honey is sold at the reception.
