Golf Son Muntaner has installed photovoltaic solar panels on the roof of its renovated car park, helping to reduce carbon emissions and generate clean, renewable electricity on site.
The system reduces the club’s reliance on conventional energy sources, lowers its environmental footprint, and increases its energy self-sufficiency by harnessing one of Mallorca’s most abundant natural resources, sunshine, which is available for nearly 300 days each year.
This investment forms part of Arabella Golf Mallorca’s wider commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable tourism. By expanding the use of renewable energy across its facilities, the club is taking practical steps to reduce operational emissions while supporting a more sustainable future for golf on the island.
The project reflects the objectives of Arabella Golf Mallorca’s Green Evolution programme, which seeks to integrate sustainability into all aspects of the visitor experience while protecting the natural environment of Mallorca.
