Visby Golf Club has launched an outreach programme to introduce children to the joy of golf. The club’s PGA professionals visit local schools to teach the fundamentals of the game in a playful and accessible way. Using soft balls and lightweight clubs, students learn how to swing, aim, and move safely, discovering that golf can be both fun and social.

Following the school visits, classes are invited to Visby Golf Club to experience the sport in its natural setting. There, the children explore the course, learn how it is maintained, and try hitting real shots on the driving range and short course.

The initiative aims to make golf more inclusive while inspiring young people to stay active, connect with nature, and develop focus and coordination. For Visby Golf Club, it’s about growing the game one curious student at a time.
