For two years now Carnoustie Golf Links have been using an Eco Green Composter, the mulcher is used to break down turf, grass clippings and soil which offers a simple, reliable and economical means of green waste recycling.
This broken-down material can then be used back on the course in the way of divot mix or for use in areas prior to turfing. Not only cost-effective but a more sustainable product alternative to what was used in the past. Other materials that can be mulched include pallets, gorse, branches and leaves.
