St. Lake Golf on pieni, mutta sydämeltään suuri golfkenttä Pyhäjärven rannalla. Meillä ei ole suuria budjetteja tai palkattuja tiimejä – vain pieni joukko intohimoisia talkoolaisia ,luonnonystäviä ,jotka uskovat siihen, että pienillä teoilla voi olla suuri merkitys. Nollabudjetilla, kierrätysmateriaaleja hyödyntäen, olemme rakentaneet luonnon ystäville kokonaisen pienen ekosysteemin: Pölyttäjille on perustettu kukkapeltoja, ylijäämälaudoista on syntynyt satoja linnunpönttöjä, telkille omat pesäpöntöt, lepakoille suojaisia pönttöjä, ötököille hotelli ja siileille turvallisia talvipesiä. Jokainen niistä on rakennettu käsin, talkoovoimin ja rakkaudella ympäristöä kohtaan. Kenttämme ei kilpaile suuruudella, vaan sydämellä. Haluamme näyttää, että vastuullisuus ei vaadi rahaa, vaan tahtoa – ja yhteisön, joka tekee yhdessä hyvää. St. Lake Golf on kenttä, jossa pelaaja saa nauttia luonnon äänistä, ei vain golfista. Se on paikka, jossa pienet teot muuttuvat suuriksi – ja luonto kiittää.

St. Lake Golf is a small but mighty course on the shores of Lake Pyhäjärvi. We don’t have big budgets or hired teams, just a dedicated group of volunteers and nature lovers who believe that small actions can make a big difference. With a low budget and recycled materials, we’ve created a thriving ecosystem: flower beds for pollinators, hundreds of birdhouses made from surplus boards, swallow nests, bat shelters, an insect hotel, and safe winter homes for hedgehogs. Every structure has been built by hand and fueled by love for the environment.
Our course doesn’t compete in size, but in heart. We want to show that responsibility doesn’t require money, only willpower and a community working together for the common good. St. Lake Golf is a place where players can enjoy the sounds of nature as much as golf. Here, small actions grow into something meaningful, and nature says thank you.
