On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September, Golf Club Milano hosted one of the events of the Festival del Parco di Monza, an initiative celebrating the Park’s rich historical, cultural and natural heritage. For the occasion, the Club opened the Roggia Pelucca springs to the public, giving visitors the opportunity to explore one of the Park’s lesser-known areas and discover the close connection between water, local history and the golf course.
The visit was led by art historian and licensed tour guide Elisabetta Cagnolaro, together with the Voluntary Ecological Rangers (GEV) of Parco Valle Lambro, the Club’s Director and President. Councillor Arianna Bettin, representing the Municipality, and Cristina Sello, President of the Organising Committee, also attended. The tour also showcased the Club’s increasingly sustainable approach to course management, including reduced use of chemical products in line with the National Action Plan (PAN). Organised with the Festival Committee and the Municipality of Monza, the event highlighted how sport, culture, environmental stewardship and community engagement can come together.
