In 2024, The Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) completed the installation of rooftop solar panels at its Island location. The system is expected to generate an average of 539 MWh of renewable electricity annually, avoiding approximately 175 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year.

By generating clean electricity on site, the solar installation reduces the club’s reliance on grid electricity while contributing to its wider efforts to reduce its operational carbon footprint. The investment represents an important step towards SICC’s ambition to achieve carbon neutrality and greater energy self-sufficiency by 2030.
