风神高尔夫俱乐部建设之初，这片曾经受损的土地上没有鸟类栖息。随着土地逐步修复，树木重新扎根，水系重新流动，自然栖息地开始形成。渐渐地，鸟儿回来了，并选择在这里停留。 多年来，风神持续通过生态养护回应这片逐渐形成的栖息地。球场养护团队手工制作并设置鸟笼，为鸟类提供栖息与繁育空间，并持续观察和记录鸟类活动。员工与会员也参与其中，让对自然的关注逐渐成为社区共同参与的一部分。 如今，风神球场已记录到数百种鸟类。丰富的植物与自然栖息地，为鸟类提供食物、庇护与繁育空间；鸟类也成为球场自然食物链的一部分，通过自然控虫，减少对农药治理的依赖。 从一片受损土地，到一个能够承载丰富生命的生态栖息地。风神的实践，也证明了高尔夫球场能够成为城市生物多样性的一部分。

When Foison Golf Club was first developed, there was no visible birdlife on this once-degraded site. As the land was restored, trees took root, water systems recovered and natural habitats began to form. Over time, birds returned - and chose to stay. Foison has since supported this emerging habitat through long-term ecological management. Staff have hand-built and installed birdhouses across the course, with employees and members also taking part in wildlife and environmental initiatives. The birdhouses are regularly checked to observe how birds use these spaces and support nesting activity. Today, hundreds of bird species have been recorded across the course. The diversity of plants and habitats provides food, shelter and nesting opportunities, while birds have also become part of the course’s natural food chain, helping to control insects and reduce reliance on pesticide treatments. What began as the restoration of a degraded landscape has developed into a living habitat for wildlife, demonstrating how a golf course can contribute to biodiversity within an urban environment.
