风神高尔夫俱乐部所在的飞鹅岭，曾是一片矿坑与工业垃圾场。草木不生，生态环境严重受损。 2008年项目启动建设时，修复这片土地，成为球场建设的第一步。球场规划与建设严格遵循奥杜邦国际的环保标准，从土壤、植被到水系，系统推进生态修复，让土地重新拥有孕育生命的能力。 开挖土方就地平衡利用，湖泊与水系逐步重建，绿地与自然栖息地随之形成，为植物、鸟类及其他野生动物留下生长与栖息的空间。 多年持续的生态养护，让曾经荒芜的土地逐渐恢复生机。如今，这里已形成超过260万平方米的绿色空间，绿化覆盖率约95%，也成为周边近10万居民身边的一片城市绿色空间。 2014年，风神36洞球场全部通过奥杜邦国际合作栖息地计划（Audubon International’s Cooperative Sanctuary Program）认证。 从一片受损土地，到一座融入城市的绿色空间。对风神而言，高尔夫从来不是与自然对立，而是生长于自然之中。

The land where Foison Golf Club now stands was once a mine and industrial waste site, with little vegetation and severe environmental degradation. When development began in 2008, ecological restoration was incorporated from the outset. The golf courses were planned and developed in accordance with Audubon International’s environmental standards, integrating ecological restoration into the development process. Soil, vegetation and water systems were progressively restored. Excavated material was reused on site, while green areas and natural habitats were established to support plants, birds and other wildlife. Today, the site has become more than 2.6 million square meters of green landscape, with approximately 95% vegetation coverage. In 2014, all 36 holes achieved certification under Audubon International’s Cooperative Sanctuary Program. At Foison, restoration came first. Golf grew from the landscape that followed.
