On our two courses, players suffer from the stinging hairs of the oak processionary caterpillar which are carried on the wind. Fighting the caterpillar is done in a very nature-friendly way instead of using chemicals. By increasing biodiversity, a larger number of natural enemies help to cut caterpillar numbers. One of the natural enemies is the Great Tit (Parus major). To increase the number of birds, 70 nest boxes were placed on the courses. All boxes are occupied by birds, which is proof of a very welcoming environment for them. The two courses are home to over 40 bird species.
