The front right of our fourth green had often endured water logging after heavy rain. We seized the opportunity to create not only a run-off reservoir but to allow the emergence of a new pond for wildlife. We will review its first year’s existence to consider possible lining or half lining of the pond to protect its integrity in dry seasons.
