As part of our commitment to reducing overall carbon emissions, we have begun replacing older gas- and diesel-powered utility vehicles and mowers with lithium-powered electric alternatives.
We now operate seven electric utility vehicles, representing nearly half of our utility fleet. Recent additions include a lithium-powered triplex mower and a Smithco Sand Star bunker rake. Smaller equipment such as electric lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers has also been introduced.
Transitioning to electric vehicles and machinery has reduced fuel costs while lowering our carbon footprint. In addition to emissions reductions, electrification allows for significantly quieter operations. This minimises noise disruption for golfers, nearby residents, local businesses, and surrounding wildlife.
We remain committed to expanding our electric fleet as we continue working toward a more sustainable and lower-impact future.
