Elmwood golf course was built for the purpose of greenkeeper education and since the last GEO Certification the team has built upon this remit by becoming Lantra accredited instructors.
Emergency spill training is now included as part of the NC Greenkeeping curriculum along with a Sportsturf: Environmental Issues unit to ensure students leave with a sound knowledge on the environmental impact of greenkeeping maintenance tasks and also how to respond should an incident occur.
