The Harrison Bay Eagle Cam Project began in 2010 when a pair of American bald eagles, later named Elliott and Eloise, built their nest in a pine tree behind the 10th green. After the first successful nesting season a camera was installed above the nest and streamed online so all could see the nesting habits and feeding processes of these eagles.
Since 2011 over 2 million unique viewers from 63 countries have viewed the nest, giving the world an up-close and personal view and showing that golf courses can be environmental sanctuaries. Eloise was replaced by Eliza in 2016 fledging the 11th and 12th eaglet from the same nest. The live feed can be viewed at www.harrisonbayeaglecam.org.
