England

A detailed ecological habitat survey mapping programme has been completed in 2022 and used to create a digital habitat atlas of St Enodoc Golf Club. This will ensure the ongoing management of St Enodoc Golf Club is informed by up to date, quantified and expert level advice.

The detailed field survey information was captured in a Geographical Information System and presented as both digital and hard copy maps. The course management team are able to refer closely to this information to inform day to day and longer term management, and to evaluate, measure and record any planned changes, enhancement and seasonal habitat works. The digital habitat atlas can also be used to support the calculation of biodiversity net gain delivered from any future initiatives
