El Real Club de Golf La Peñaza ha instalado una planta fotovoltaica de 65,4 kWp que permite el autoabastecimiento energético de varias de sus instalaciones, reduciendo así su consumo energético y sus emisiones de carbono. Aprovechando un recurso abundante como el sol, el 100% de la energía eléctrica consumida en vestuarios, oficinas, cocina, restaurante e incluso la depuradora de la piscina recreativa -que funciona durante todo el día- procede de energía solar. Se han instalado 120 paneles solares en estructura este-oeste solarbloc, un formato que permite fijar los paneles sin necesidad de cimentación o estructuras metálicas.

Real Club de Golf La Peñaza has installed a 65.4 kWp photovoltaic plant that enables several of its facilities to operate with energy self-sufficiency, thereby reducing overall energy consumption and carbon emissions.
By harnessing an abundant natural resource such as solar energy, 100% of the electricity consumed in the locker rooms, offices, kitchen, restaurant, and even the recreational pool’s water treatment system, which operates continuously throughout the day, is now generated on-site.
A total of 120 solar panels have been installed on an east–west Solarbloc structure, a design that allows the panels to be secured without the need for traditional foundations or additional metal support structures.
