Custom eco-friendly practice pad for driving range

In late December 2024, Shanghai Links Golf introduced a custom-designed practice mat for its driving range, covering an area of approximately 105 square meters (70 meters long × 1.5 meters wide). It can accommodate up to 20 players practicing their swings simultaneously.

The mat is made of the latest eco-friendly and durable material, offering a moderate firmness and fine texture that improves the practice experience. It provides a solid, pure strike and is suitable for players of all ages. Moreover, it significantly protects and reduces the wear and tear on natural turf.

Compared to traditional secondary turf systems, it can completely replace real turf during the 25% of the year in winter, saving material and labor costs—accounting for 33% of the annual maintenance expenses for the dedicated practice area.
