A new sandy waste area was created in front of the 9th tee, this further enhances the Links feel and biodiversity of the site whilst creating valuable habitat for mining bees and sand lizards.
Royal St David's are working closely with Natural Resources Wales to improve the site ecologically and to provide great diversity around the site of different grasslands which allow different plants etc to thrive rather than swathes of thick-rank grasslands where diversity is minimal.
