In 2020, Landeryds Golf Club members constructed 100 new birdhouses, which were made available for purchase by club members. These birdhouses could then be placed in a location on the course chosen by the buyer.
Following the completion of this project, Landeryd organised early morning bird walks to observe if any new tenants had taken up residence in the birdhouses. To our delight, we discovered that all our houses are now occupied by various types of birds!
We hope that the introduction of these houses will continue to foster a community of birds on the course, helping to boost populations while serving as natural pest controls for insects.
