Creating ideal habitats for local snakes

Because we've seen different snake species on-site and as part of our environmental outlook, we have created two snake habitats in the form of dry stone walls with forest wood. These face south to get the warm sun and are located in the hard, no-mow roughs, an ideal habitat.

We will allow the fescue grasses to grow around these and ensure we do not remove leaf litter and branches to allow this area to naturally develop further.
