Our commitment to energy sustainable use includes several actions started many years ago. Among the most important actions is the conversion from cool-season grasses to Bermuda grass which allowed us to reduce maintenance inputs.
The pump station and the air conditioning system were renewed, plus the installation of sensors to turn off automatically the lighting and the replacement of all lights with LED lights. As an additional operation, a 110 KWh photovoltaic panel system has been installed on the roof of the maintenance facility building. Golf della Montecchia can now further reduce CO2 emissions by 50 t per year.
