To reduce fossil fuel dependency, the Zurich Classic implemented the use of solar-powered light towers across the event grounds. A major transition was also made from generators to shore power, especially during the site build.
The host course, TPC Louisiana, also now powers several hospitality and operational areas through the venue’s electrical grid, cutting down over 3,000 gallons of diesel consumption from 2024 to 2025 and related emissions.
