By law (PAN 2014), Italian golf courses and public spaces must be managed without pesticides. Gardagolf, where the Italian Open 2018 will take place, may be regarded as a successful example of this kind: this year, by avoiding chemical synthesis to treat playing surfaces, the golf club will be able to host a ‘chemical free’ tournament.
Gardagolf undergoes 3 certifications every year, to ensure that no pesticides are used, and to reinforce its commitment as an ecologically and socially sustainable, chemical-free golf course.
