In 2020, we launched a fundraising initiative to support Irish charities affected by the Covid-19 pandemic (Peita House, Alone, Feed the Heroes and The Peter McVerry Trust). In conjunction with 5 other golf clubs, we all donated three fourball green fee vouchers into a prize pot. 3 x first prizes were drawn with each winner receiving a fourball voucher to each of the six courses. Entries were charged at €25 and were managed using an online platform and payment mechanism. 1116 entries were made raising €27900. Minus third party administration fees the sum of €26800 was split evenly and donated to the 4 charities.
