A charity tournament, organized by Nico Huizing and father of our golf pro Daan Huizing, was entirely dedicated to supporting ZonnaCare Children's Hospice.
Seventy golfers participated in the event, which was played in great weather. The players started in a shotgun format and passed by a temporary outpost of De Zon at hole 9. Each player had the opportunity to take a short break and enjoy a cup of soup, a shrimp skewer, and a hamburger, freshly prepared on-site by our chef Remco.
Following the prize ceremony, a delicious three-course dinner, and an auction, it was announced that an incredible €28,000 had been raised for this wonderful cause.
