Ennis Golf Club is deeply embedded in the life of County Clare, actively supporting health, inclusion, and community wellbeing through charity and fundraising initiatives. Each year, Ennis Golf Club hosts many Charity and Community focused events. These include Play in Pink competition in support of breast cancer research, uniting members and visitors through a themed fundraising day on the course. The event raises vital funds while reinforcing a culture of care and solidarity within the club.
This year, the Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association Classic marked the organisation’s 40 Years of Caring milestone. Members, local businesses, and supporters came together on the course to raise funds and awareness for this vital cause, reflecting the club’s role as a social hub for County Clare.
Ennis Golf Club also opens its doors to Special Olympics, by hosting event that brings athletes, volunteers, and supporters together at the clubhouse - a powerful demonstration of golf’s capacity to promote inclusion, participation, and community connection beyond the fairways.
