During our Charity Day we raised an outstanding €14,000 in support of the new Hospice at Zeesserweg in Ommen. This achievement was made possible through the combined efforts of participating golfers, generous sponsors, creative auction contributors, and supportive members of the local community.
We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who took part, whether by playing, donating prizes or auction items, or assisting with catering and event support.
A hospice provides a place where individuals in the final phase of life can spend their time with peace and dignity, and we are proud as a club to contribute to such an important cause. On behalf of Hooge Graven, Niek Vreeman (pictured right) and Atke Wegerif (second from left) formally presented the cheque to the hospice board.
