As the first amateur tournament in the world to have achieved the GEO Tournament Certification, we are aware that we can act as ambassadors for event's sustainability and in general for sport sustainability.
Since 2017 we have carried out several activities in order to raise the awareness about GEO Tournament; among the latest was a special banner unveiled in the US Kids Area at the 2023 Italian Open in Marco Simone.
As a Rolex Series event played on the course that will host within a few months the Ryder Cup, the massive visibility opportunity provided by this event has helped us to spread the word about Venice Open's sustainability results and legacies.
