During a prolonged dry spell, we noticed that a family of hedgehogs were entering the green on the fourth after it was watered in order to drink. We decided to leave cat bowls with water to ensure that they had sufficient water. It worked well and now they are thriving again. Sadly, we don't get to see them anymore but it is comforting to know that they are just fine.
