The results of recent Butterfly monitoring have revealed promising results within the examined area, which corresponded to a continuous natural area within the golf course. A total of 56 butterfly species were documented in this region. Notably, among these species, 10 are listed in the current Red List with threat levels ranging from Near Threatened (NT) to Vulnerable (VU). These species include the Bibernell/Thyme Wisteria, Tree White, High Bog Yellow, Mourning Cloak, Violet Silver Moth, Fritillary Fritillary, Valerian Fritillary, Black-spotted Blue, Common Blue, and Surgical Blue.
Furthermore, the Scabious Hawkmoth, another Red List species, has been recorded among moth groups in the area. The multiple findings and the circumstances surrounding the discovery of these species indicate that their populations are still viable. Of particular significance for nature conservation are the presence of the Common Blue and Kidney Vetch, as these species have either a very limited distribution or are experiencing a decline in Central Switzerland.
