A 3-year project has come to an end at The Montgomerie Dubai, where the team reviewed the size and shape of the bunkers as part of a sand exchange program. Bunkers are the most expensive item on the labour tracker to maintain, and over the review we removed 10 bunkers and reduced the overall bunker footprint by 2,226 m². This also allowed us to order less sand — equalling 148 bags less, or 5 trucks less — reducing our carbon footprint on deliveries.
