The new clubhouse is being constructed to achieve a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating. The building has been designed to maximise natural daylight, reducing reliance on artificial lighting while maintaining a comfortable internal climate year-round. Its orientation and thermal performance will help minimise the need for mechanical heating and cooling, improving long-term energy efficiency.
A range of sustainable technologies further strengthens the clubhouse’s environmental credentials. Solar panels will generate renewable energy on site, air source heat pumps will provide low-carbon heating, and LED lighting systems will minimise electricity consumption. Electric vehicle charging points will also be installed, supporting the transition to cleaner transport.
Together, these measures demonstrate a commitment to reducing operational carbon emissions and delivering a future-focused, energy-efficient facility.
