Dundonald Links continually seeks to build stronger relationships with the community and local schools - this included a fun 'Design a Flag' project as part of Scotland's Year of Young People. Young people were invited to come up with creative ideas for a flag design which would be used. A design by two children from a local Primary School was selected to be used on the championship course with lots of other brilliant ideas from creative young people shared. Dundonald continues our engagement with the community with a goal of "bringing the classroom outdoors" and has donated a piece of unused land to be a learning environment where children will transform the space into a valuable habitat whilst working with the 'Curriculum for Excellence' to help young people learn skills for life.
