Our commitment to sustainability extends to protecting biodiversity, using resources responsibly, and continuously developing our operations in line with sustainable principles. By establishing wildflower meadows across the course, we actively promote biodiversity while reducing maintenance needs and environmental impact. These vibrant meadows provide essential habitats for pollinators such as bees and butterflies, ensuring the continuity of local ecosystems.
Each meadow area was carefully prepared: weeds were removed, and seeds were sown directly onto the soil surface, allowing natural light to stimulate germination. The result is not only a colorful landscape but also healthier soil, increased moisture retention, and thriving underground life.
In celebration of Linna Golf’s anniversary year, our gardener, Jutta Koivu, together with the course maintenance team, created a stunning floral installation in the heart of the course, at Piccadilly Square. Across the property, our diverse planting areas bloom throughout the season, a true visual delight for every golfer, and a lasting gift to nature.
