2023
In September 2014, Temple Golf Club took a significant step by replacing its outdated oil-fired boiler with a Biomass boiler. This environmentally friendly unit now provides heat to the clubhouse heating system and hot water tank by utilising sustainably sourced wood pellets instead of fossil fuels.
This transition has had a positive impact on Temple's carbon footprint, as burning wood pellets emits significantly less CO2 compared to oil heating. By embracing this change, Temple has demonstrated its commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by promoting a more sustainable approach to their energy consumption.
