In both 2024 and 2025, Carnoustie Golf Links proudly hosted a BioBlitz—an exciting community event where volunteers, local experts, and school groups came together to record as many plant and animal species as possible across the estate in a single day.
These events offered a unique opportunity to explore the natural side of the Links, highlighting the incredible biodiversity that thrives alongside our fairways. From butterflies and birds to wildflowers and insects, the BioBlitz helped us better understand and celebrate our local ecosystems.
The data collected supports our ongoing environmental efforts and fosters greater awareness of nature among our community. We look forward to continuing this important and engaging initiative in the years to come.
