Written by: Alessandro De Luca

For the first time, the fairways of the golf courses hosting an international tournament valid for the World Amateur Golf Ranking were mowed with automatic electric mowers. This innovative experience aligns with the concept of environmental sustainability that has always characterized the US Kids Venice Open and the courses of Golf della Montecchia and Golf Frassanelle, which have always hosted the event. The experience was preceded by scientific studies conducted with researchers from the University of Pisa. The young players were fascinated by this new technology, which represents the future of golf course maintenance, sport fields and green spaces in general in the coming years.
