At Nordcenter, we have been steadily introducing automatic mowers to maintain our green surrounds, rough, and fairways since 2022. By the end of 2023, approximately 20% of our fairways and 10% of our surrounds and roughs are now being tended to by robotic mowers. Our aim going forward is to expand these areas by 30% each year.
This transition not only results in significant savings in fuel, reducing our carbon footprint, and saving money, but it also decreases machine maintenance and minimizes labour. Moreover, it enables us to reallocate these resources to focus on detailed work across all areas of our golf facility. In 2023 alone, we saved 3000 liters of diesel compared to the previous year, marking a significant step towards our goals.
