Atlantic Beach Links has been honoured with the 2025/2026 John Collier Top Club Award for Sustainability - ESG, recognising excellence in environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and governance. Presented on World Environment Day, the award followed an independent assessment of more than 250 golf clubs across South Africa.
Now in its nineteenth year, the John Collier Survey combines extensive research, industry interviews, and independent evaluation to identify the country's leading sustainability performer. Atlantic Beach was recognised for its comprehensive environmental management programme, commitment to open communication and transparency, and its people-first culture, which values staff as the foundation of operational excellence. The assessment also highlighted the club's strong governance, underpinned by a rolling five-year strategic financial plan and well-established policies, procedures, and governance practices.
Registered with United Nations World Environment Day, the award also carries international recognition. Atlantic Beach Links is proud to receive this independent endorsement, which provides a meaningful benchmark on our sustainability journey and reinforces our commitment to continually raising the bar for sustainable golf.
