Another step towards energy self-sufficiency

In 2025, The Singapore Island Country Club completed the installation of rooftop solar panels at its Bukit location. The system is expected to generate an average of 139 MWh of renewable electricity annually, avoiding approximately 56 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year.

By generating renewable electricity on site, the installation reduces the club’s reliance on grid electricity while contributing to efforts to lower its operational carbon footprint. The investment represents another important step towards SICC’s ambition to achieve carbon neutrality and greater energy self-sufficiency by 2030.
