As a regular stop on the European Tour, hosting the KLM Open, Hilversumsche lies close to Amsterdam in a Natura 2000 designated heathland. We host a great diversity of valuable flora and fauna, with approximately 80 bird species inventoried, many mammals can be observed, including the European Polecat and the Marten.
There have been many, many great outcomes from our work for the golf course and for the biodiversity, and also including a good relationship with our national chapter of Birdlife International.
