SICC hosted the 55th edition of its flagship May Day Charity, demonstrating the power of collective giving and community action. Held under the theme ‘Uplifting the Underserved’, the milestone event on 1 May 2026 brought together members, corporate partners, beneficiaries, and community leaders in a shared commitment to creating meaningful social impact.

Continuing a distinguished legacy of giving established in 1972 under Presidential patronage, SICC was honoured to welcome President Tharman Shanmugaratnam as Guest of Honour at the Gala Dinner. Over more than five decades, the May Day Charity has raised more than S$28 million for over 100 organisations across Singapore, establishing a significant legacy of philanthropy and community support.

In 2026 alone, SICC raised close to S$2 million for 13 beneficiaries, reaffirming its commitment to uplifting lives and strengthening communities. The club also introduced a new fundraising initiative, the ‘Donate & Drive’ campaign, in collaboration with President’s Challenge, marking SICC’s first partnership with the national charitable initiative.

Through the continued support of its members, partners, and wider community, the May Day Charity demonstrates how golf can provide a powerful platform for collective action and create a lasting positive impact beyond the course.
