As a Lead Architect, he has undertaken projects ranging from sensitive remodelling work on old and traditional golf courses to resort master planning, and the design of Championship golf courses. His clients have included private clubs, major development groups, and owner/operators with extensive course portfolios.

Since joining the RTJ II team in 1981, Bruce’s body of work is as remarkable as it is global and he has earned countless awards and accolades. His more than 50 designs are in virtually every corner of the globe, including Chambers Bay near Tacoma, Wash., site of the 2015 U.S. Open Championship. Bruce joined RTJ II after receiving a degree in landscape architecture from the University of Arizona and went on to hone his skills under the tutelage of Robert Trent Jones, Jr. He is a past president and current member of the prestigious American Society of Golf Course Architects.

Gary went on to complete a Masters degree from Heriot-Watt University and having worked for EGD briefly prior to attending Heriot-Watt Gary returned to the company in 2003. As a designer he is directly responsible for producing the golf course designs, construction drawings, specifications, and on-site inspection during construction.

Mark spent his formative years playing and caddying at Lancaster CC, this is where his fascination with the game of golf and golf design sparked. This facsination took him around the world, becoming head of IMG Golf Course Services and later to Faldo Design where he helps the business grow in Asia and the Middle East.

His interest in golf began in 1989 with a Cambridge University tour to the US, reinforcing Martin's appreciation for how golf courses should be eased into the landscape. A career in golf course design began in 1990 with Donald Steel Company. Mackenzie & Ebert was formed in 2005 with 8 of the 10 Open venues being advised by the company and 22 of the Top 100 Courses in the world outside of the US as ranked by Golf Digest along with many new course projects in a number of countries.
Throughout his career, Martin has worked on courses across the world including the UK, Ireland, numerous countries in Europe, Canada, Chile, Japan, Peru, Sri Lanka, and the US where he has created, restored or renovated some stunning courses.

Originally from Northern California, Mike Gorman's passion for golf course design ignited during his youth. From sketching layouts as a youth golfer to exploring renowned courses with family growing up, his love for golf and the outdoors flourished early on. Starting in 2001 Mike joined Robert Trent Jones II headquartered in Palo Alto, California. His sketches evolved over time blending creativity, technical expertise, with a focus toward strategic golf and playability in his designs.
Mike has worked all over the world including projects in Vietnam, Mexico and Greece. His commitment to sustainability carries through his design principles with particular interest in water conservation and native grasses.

Having learnt to play golf in New Zealand, then started with a degree in Horticulture, Scott went on to study environmentally sensitive golf course design at UC Davis in California. His passion took him to work in Australia and America before settling in Scotland in 1998. In 2024 Scott Macpherson Golf Design celebrates 20 years of creating bespoke, attractive, fun golf facilities that are in harmony with the environment. He is a podcaster and has written two books on golf: St Andrews–The Evolution of the Old Course (2007, 2023), and Golf’s Royal Clubs (2014).
