John has worked in the golf industry for almost 10 years, in course and club management, design and construction, landscape architecture and practical course maintainance. Between 2004-2012 he worked with the same company on 12 new golf course development projects and he has become highly qualified and experienced in these areas.
John studied a PhD in Ecology at the Chinese Academy of Science in Beijing, with the research focus on turfgrass water consumption. His Masters degree major is in Botany from SiChuan University and his Bachelor degree is in Agronomy from Hebei Agriculture University. John also studied golf course management at Elmwood College in Scotland in 2002, and achieved the PDA certification. He completed the Business Management Institute programme of the Club Managers Association of America from 2007 to 2010, and was awarded CCM in the USA.
He has worked with 5 golf courses, including two 36-hole, one 27-hole, and two 18-hole facilities, and has also 5 years university teaching experience.
