A free-lance environmental consultant, Pere’s specialities include the environmental enhancement of golf courses (fostering biodiversity, waste management and environmental education / awareness), applied study of environmental vectors (urban-industrial-construction waste management, water pollution, air pollution, noise reduction, etc), Urban and territorial studies, and environmental education and communication.
After graduating in biology (1990, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) and taking a master degree in engineering and environmental management (1995, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya), Pere worked many years delivering environmental education in three National Parks (Aiguamolls de l’Empordà, Aigüestortes-Sant Maurici and Montnegre-Corredor) before moving into consultancy.
He has worked for golf courses including Macenas, Bonmont Terres Noves, Aigüesverds, writing action plans to enhance their biodiversity and improve their environmental management. He has also lectured in México regarding Waste Management and Environmental Education in Golf Courses.
Pere has broad experience in wildlife and biodiversity's management includes working on the reintroduction of the peregrine falcon to Barcelona, and first national on-line census of housemartins.
