As golf facilities, developments or tournaments seek to become GEO Certified, their performance against the Standard is always validated by accredited and independent experts. This network of ‘Accredited Verifiers’ for sustainable golf work to clearly defined policies, procedures and Code of Conduct. Verification takes into account the degree of complexity and risk,  different specialism required and local priorities or legal requirements -  and in all cases, assurance is carried out to be ISEAL Code Compliant.
